East Riding of Yorkshire Council is collaborating with several local partners for a breakfast networking event to celebrate International Women's Day and to launch the region's Humber Women in the Workforce project.
The breakfast event will take place on Tuesday 8 March 2022 from 8am at the Aura Innovation Centre, Bridgehead Business Park in Hessle.
Helen Gibson MBE, the managing director of Agencia, a Humber-based company which helps organisations bring about change around criminal justice, health and social care issues will be a guest speaker at the event. Cllr Jane Evison from East Riding of Yorkshire Council will also be providing the welcome address.
There will be opportunities to ask questions, discuss and network as well as to sign-up to one of the Humber Women in the Workforce programmes run by each of the partners.
The partners in the £1.3 million funded European Social Fund programme to support women in the work place - East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull City Council, Source Solutions and the University of Hull - would be delighted to see you at the event, to connect with you and to find ways to support you.
