Property owners may request to add a name to their property, change the existing name of their property or remove the name of their property. If the property has been allocated a number, it must continue to retain the number, but a name can be used in addition to an existing number. Only under exceptional circumstances will the address management team consider the removal of a property number, for example a change of access to a non-numbered street.
