COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement

Sewerby Hall and Gardens have issued the following update following the new guidance about coronavirus (COVID-19) by the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England.

From Saturday 21 March - The House, Zoo, Cafe, Welcome Centre and toilets will be closed. We have had to postpone all planned events until the end of May, when we will review the situation again.

The grounds and car park, however, will remain open.

We are currently reviewing our membership scheme in relation to Covid-19 and guidance from Public Health England. Please be assured that we will contact all Annual Pass holders once we have clarity on how we intend to proceed.

Sewerby Hall Cottages will close on 27 March. We are working with to cancel or move the bookings going forward.

Worklink nurseries

Worklink Nurseries in the Walled Garden are also closed.

Flamborough Lighthouse

Flamborough Lighthouse will be closed for tours until 31 May.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year

We are sorry to announce that the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition will not take place. We are in discussions with the Natural History Museum, in the hope that we can reschedule it.
